Hi again, sorry for no comics (again) and I appreciate your checking in but oh wow-- this baby thing is all so everything! I knew it was going to be a helluva ride but I didn't know what kind of bicycle we were gonna be riding. Turns out a souped up Harley Davidson and it occurred to me I needed to take maternity leave from my own comic, go figure! :) So my new goal is to get back to it in a month. Still every Monday but a little after we've figured out the whole breastfeeding thing and gotten her hip dysplasia sonogram and on and on it goes... Thanks for your patience!!

New comics every Monday except for today because the baby's here! Surprise! Went into labor Friday morning and 23 hours later, she was born in the early light of March 10th, 2012. We're thrilled to pieces! Very tired, very happy, very much in love.

It's my fault, sorry!!
The comic is about 2 months behind real life, meaning we are officially on babywatch right now —due any day!— and I've been running (read: waddling) around trying to get all these last minute things done and completely blew my time management.
So from here on out, I promise to have a new comic up every Monday. (unless I'm in labor!) That way I won't keep mumbling, "omg, need to do a comic tomorrow..." and then get distracted by all these CUTE LITTLE SOCK THINGS FOR ITTY BITTY FEETS!! That need to be washed and folded and install the car seat and prepare the bottles and watch my feet swell and check the crib and wash the floor and get all these bullcrap practice contractions underway and on and on and on it goes.
